Refund Policy

1. Overview

At CoverStudio, we want you to be fully satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which you may request a refund for paid subscription plans (Pro Creator and Enterprise Publisher).

2. Subscription Refund Window

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscription purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase date.

After the 14-day period, subscription payments are non-refundable. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

3. Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The refund request is made within 14 days of the original purchase date
  • This is your first refund request for CoverStudio (we allow one refund per customer)
  • The request is submitted via email to our support team

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Free Starter plan: The Free tier is complimentary and has no associated charges
  • Renewal payments: Automatic renewal charges after the initial subscription period are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid being charged
  • Partial month usage: If you cancel mid-cycle after the 14-day guarantee window, no prorated refund will be issued. Your access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Plan downgrades: Switching from Enterprise to Pro Creator does not generate a refund for the price difference

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@coverstudio.app with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and the date of purchase
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your refund request (optional, but helps us improve)

6. Processing Time

Once we receive and verify your refund request, we will process the refund within 5–10 business days. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

7. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and refund are separate actions:

  • Cancellation stops future billing. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. You can cancel anytime from your Account Settings page.
  • Refund returns the payment for the current billing period (if within the 14-day guarantee window). Your access will be revoked upon refund processing, and your account will revert to the Free Starter plan.

8. Service Disruptions

If the Service experiences prolonged downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end, you may be eligible for a prorated credit or refund for the affected period, regardless of the 14-day window. Please contact support with details of the disruption.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks can result in account suspension and additional fees. We are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly through our support channel.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on this page. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for updates.
